Hello Fellow Change Healthcare Users,

I am an Applications Analyst at Beth Israel Lahey Health and posting here to share some information about the success we have experienced implementing Clearance at our community hospitals in Milton, Needham and Plymouth using Meditech Expanse.

In short, after implementing Clearance at the above hospitals, we were able to achieve significantly improved eligibility workflows, end-user experience and greater response rates from payers. Among other results, we saw a 19.1% increase in real-time eligibility transactions.

For those who are interested, details of the challenges we faced and the outcome of our efforts can be found here:

Case Study – Clearance – Beth Israel Lahey Health

There were many factors that went into the successful outcome we experienced, but I’d like to take a moment to call out the Clearance Support Team. The support level received post-implementation continues to be excellent. The support organization is impressively structured, enabling us to easily create and track tickets. When identifying an issue (for example, a payer response does not look accurate), the support experts are terrific. They work diligently to resolve matters timely and frequently communicate throughout the process, especially when it takes longer to resolve on the payer’s end for research. Thanks to the excellent support we receive, I encourage you to leverage this resource as well!

I hope you find the Case Study helpful. I’d love to hear of other’s successes and challenges so we can learn from our collective experiences.
