The best thing about HIMSS22 in Orlando for the Change Healthcare Community team was being back in-person, meeting and talking to the people that make Community thrive. There was noticeable energy on the tradeshow floor as everyone seemed eager to make new connections and reconnect with old friends and colleagues. The Community sponsored photo booth was a big hit! On the first day we were happy to provide over 100 professional headshots to our customers, partners, associates, and new friends. You can read more about our first day at HIMSS22 here.
Day two at HIMSS22 was our busiest day at the photo booth, with 222 professional headshots provided! There was a buzz around the floor about the interesting displays and creative ways of getting people’s attention. Change Healthcare's booth had quite a following! We had visitors throughout the day stop by telling us they heard they needed to meet us and get a new headshot taken by our great photographer.
Two booths that we had to visit for ourselves were Change Healthcare Partners: Salesforce and Amazon AWS. Salesforce sent visitors on a quest to learn about their products, and looked like a cross between Disney and Build-a-Bear. It was such a fun way to learn. Our other partner, AWS was printing pictures on coffee! Yes, you read that correctly. Once the barista made your drink of choice, they sent a link to your phone and you could choose the photo you wanted to print. Once the photo was uploaded, it was printed with espresso bean dust, and like magic (or really cool technology) the picture came back on your coffee. Look at the adorable puppy of @AMY THUNDERBURK .
We finished day three both exhausted and exhilarated. Traveling through the ATL Airport, we saw a Zimbabwean sculpture of kids playing hopscotch and felt like kids who were able to play again. You can see a picture of it in our day three post.
The HIMSS22 tradeshow floor felt slower on Thursday as some attendees were already heading home. However, we still beat our Tuesday headshot total and ended with nearly 500 photos provided over three days! We weren’t sure how the photobooth would be received, but everyone loved it. We hope we get to do it again.
One thing we didn’t tell you about last week was the interactive touch-screen Kiosk at the Change Healthcare booth. The Kiosk let customers and prospects learn more about our Enterprise Technology, Communications & Payment Solutions, and Community teams. If they wanted to engage deeper, they could inquire about Partnership opportunities or explore career options at Change Healthcare. But by far, the most fun thing about the Kiosk was getting a chance to spin the wheel and win a variety of prizes!
